They are seeking a University Sales / Business Development Manager to grow partnerships with higher education institutions and drive revenue through consultative sales processes.
Responsibilities
• Own full-cycle sales for Higher Education: prospecting → discovery → solutioning → proposal → procurement → close → launch → expansion
• Engage the right stakeholders across universities (continuing ed, academic leadership, departments, innovation, career services, workforce development)
• Position CodeSignal solutions for university use cases (career readiness, curriculum-aligned practice, competency verification)
• Coordinate pilots with clear success criteria and pathways to expansion (more students, more programs, campus-wide adoption)
• Partner closely with Customer Success and Product to ensure smooth onboarding and measurable outcomes
• Maintain accurate pipeline tracking, forecasting, and account plans
Skills
• 5-7+ years of experience selling into Higher Education (EdTech/SaaS preferred)
• Proven ability to navigate complex stakeholder groups and procurement cycles
• Strong consultative selling skills and executive presence
• Comfortable translating outcomes into metrics (adoption, completion, readiness, placement signals, employer engagement)
• Highly organized; able to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
• Experience with LMS/LTI environments and institution-wide deployments
• Background in workforce development, career readiness, or employer partnership programs
