Responsibilities
- Edit and condense 3-5 minutes of raw footage into a compelling 60-second short-form video for social media platforms
- Utilize strong storytelling techniques to create engaging storylines, applying music and sound effects to create an emotional connection with the viewers
- Demonstrate expertise in creating and incorporating visual animations into video content to improve storytelling and viewer engagement
- Ensure the application of appropriate color grading, audio synchronization, and smooth transitions, emphasizing attention to detail despite the limited timeframe
- Collaborate effectively with directors and other team members to understand their vision and deliver the desired outcome
- Keep abreast of current trends in short-form video editing, social media platforms, and audience preferences to create content that resonates with the target audience
- Optimize videos for mobile viewing and effectively utilize platform-specific features to maximize engagement
