As a Data Analyst, you will play a key role in driving business decisions by applying advanced analytical techniques to large-scale, complex data sets. About the Role:
The Disney Streaming Information and Examination association is looking for a Data Expert who will be an excellent addition to our High-Level Investigation, Content team. As a Data Analyst, you will join our content team that applies scientific rigor to optimize our content portfolio, marketing, and release strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Apply advanced analytical techniques (data mining, data visualization, statistical analysis, machine learning) to drive business decisions
- Analyze customer behavior to identify unmet customer needs and undiscovered content opportunities
- Predict content engagement to inform acquisition decisions
- Optimize content launch and episode release strategy
- Test marketing strategies to enhance engagement and retention
- Develop new metrics and KPIs to measure content performance
- Provide ad-hoc analytical support to stakeholders
- Effectively communicate insights through compelling data storytelling
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Math, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or equivalent
- At least 2 years of Data Analysis experience
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with R and/or Python
- Experience with statistical analysis and machine learning methods
- Proven ability to work independently and apply creativity in solving complex problems
- Excellent data storytelling skills
Nice to Have:
- Master's degree in Data Science, Math, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or equivalent
- A passion for Media and Entertainment
