They are seeking a Project Manager to oversee production projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and quality standards while fostering client communication and team leadership.
Responsibilities
- With assistance, develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets
- Coordinate and oversee all project activities to ensure they align with organizational goals
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and addressing potential risks and obstacles
- Assist in leading cross-functional project teams, fostering collaboration and a positive working environment
- Delegate tasks effectively as needed, providing guidance and support to team members
- Ensure the team's adherence to project timelines and quality standards
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and expectations
- Communicate project updates, milestones, and changes to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner
- Assist in managing project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials
- Optimize resource allocation to ensure project success while maintaining cost-effectiveness
- Implement and enforce quality control measures throughout the project lifecycle
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and client requirements
Skills
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or another technical field
- 1-5 years of experience in the utility, construction, or manufacturing
- Basic knowledge of construction, industry codes and standards
- Prior exposure to project management is a must
- Demonstrated ability to identify problems and work creatively in a team environment to resolve them
- Ability to respond in a flexible manner and to reprioritize work as the situation demands
- Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent organizational skills and time management skills are necessary
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project
- Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including internal resources and clients
- Ability to read and interpret communication styles of team members and clients who come from both technical and non-technical disciplines
