The Role
Medely is seeking a proactive and enthusiastic People Coordinator to join our People team. This is a unique opportunity to expand your HR expertise in a fully remote, fast-paced startup environment while supporting employees across the U.S.
As a People Coordinator, you’ll be the first point of contact for employee inquiries, ensuring a high level of HR support and service. You'll manage and maintain our core HR systems and processes, contributing to a seamless employee experience throughout the entire lifecycle—from onboarding to offboarding.
The Impact You'll Make
Serve as the first line of support for employee questions via Siit.io, Gmail, and Slack
Become a subject matter expert on Medely’s HR policies and programs, escalating issues as appropriate
Manage and maintain employee records and reports, continuously identifying ways to improve efficiency and document security
Support and administer HR tools including our HRIS (Rippling), LMS (Workramp), and performance management platform (Lattice)
Collaborate with HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition to execute onboarding, employee changes, terminations and scheduling.
Additional projects as needed
Who You Are
Experience in Human Resources; experience supporting remote teams is a plus
Familiarity with HR best practices and understanding of relevant federal, state, and local employment laws
Excellent communication and customer service skills in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
Proficient in Mac, Google Suite, Excel and comfortable adapting to new systems
Detail-oriented, approachable, and eager to learn
