We're seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Merchandising Ambassador to join our team in Cedar Valley, IA. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a vital role in driving sales growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Job Summary:
The Merchandising Ambassador will be responsible for implementing and maintaining our merchandising standards across various customer locations. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain our merchandising standards and sales campaign diagrams across customer locations.
- Set out and rotate products to create visually appealing displays that drive sales and enhance the customer experience.
- Act as a corporate liaison for our sales team, ensuring professional communication with customers and maintaining a clean and neat appearance at all times.
- Install and maintain point-of-sale displays, including discount coupons, channel price tags, display headers, pole signs, and static clings.
- Assist Account Managers with price-management issues and communicate timely to the sales/account manager and/or supervisor any account issues or potential opportunities.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area, ensuring a safe environment for customers, employees, and consumers.
- Perform minor as-needed maintenance on displays and report escalated repairs to the Merchandising Supervisor.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to follow directions and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to make frequent visits to multiple customer sites each day.
- Valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to varying situations.
Working Conditions:
This role requires extensive regional day travel and frequent visits to customer locations. The Merchandising Ambassador will be required to stand, walk, push, and pull for long periods, lift up to 40 pounds, and perform other physical tasks as needed.
