Part-Time Freight Dispatcher (Remote) – Hotshot & Flatbed Experience Preferred

Apex Logistics Solutions is expanding, and we’re looking for a driven, experienced Freight Dispatcher to join our team.
If you know how to hunt down profitable loads, negotiate strong rates, and keep drivers rolling — this role is for you.
This is a remote, commission-based position with flexible hours, perfect for someone who knows the industry and wants to earn based on performance—not clock punching.
What You'll Do
• Book profitable loads using DAT, Truckstop, and other platforms
• Negotiate directly with brokers to secure the best rates
• Dispatch drivers and maintain real-time communication
• Complete RCs, NOAs, carrier packets, and required paperwork
• Track shipments from pickup to delivery
• Build and maintain relationships with carriers, brokers, and team members
• Help keep our fleet moving efficiently and consistently
✔ Requirements (Read Before Applying)
Applicants MUST have:
• Freight dispatching experience (hotshot, flatbed, or OTR strongly preferred)
• Reliable computer/laptop, internet, and a working cell phone
• Strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and stay organized
• Familiarity with major load boards (DAT/Truckstop)
If you do not have dispatch experience, this position is not a fit.
Compensation
• 100% remote
• Commission-based ( % commission of loads booked)
• Bonus opportunities for high performance
• Potential to move into a full-time Lead Dispatcher role
