Job Overview
In this critical role, you will be responsible for supporting ongoing subscriber measurement for various business-critical initiatives. You will work closely with our upstream informing partners to ensure accurate delivery of subscription change messaging, including price increases, subscriber arrangements, and new data being collected. Your expertise will also be essential in identifying subscribers impacted by episodes requiring timely and lawful remediations. Collaboration with incident management, Business Operations, and trade engineering will be vital to ensure the integrity of our subscriber adjusts and that clients receive refunds when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage data entry and document information requirements connected with subscriber informing drives and episode remediation, ensuring that the right clients receive discounts when required.
- Develop queries based on required business logic, sometimes legally committing, to determine precise companions of subscribers for informing and/or remediation.
- Communicate business requirements to technical teams and provide concise summaries of technical progress or potential detours to business partners.
- Develop strong knowledge of subscriber adjusts and the technical system that underlies subscriber data.
- Manage project planning and schedules, and facilitate cross-functional delivery to ensure readiness for significant business events.
- Drive alignment across Data, Business Operations, and Finance through the development of robust communication processes and operational playbooks.
- In collaboration with Data Product and Data Quality Engineering, contribute to the design of robust reporting solutions that minimize data incidents.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 2+ years of work experience developing in SQL, particularly in an ETL processing pipeline.
- 2+ years of analytical experience.
- Proven ability to convey technical and/or analytical concepts to a wide range of audiences.
- Knowledge of Python/R or other statistical programming languages.
- Knowledge of data analysis and data visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, Chartio, etc.
- Strong interpersonal skills, as well as written and verbal presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following skills and qualifications are highly desirable:
- Understanding of statistical concepts (e.g., hypothesis testing, regression analysis).
- Postgraduate education.
- Knowledge of Airflow.
