About the Role
We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Entry and Analytics Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our data analytics team, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex data sets to inform business decisions. Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement large-scale customer-level experiments and in-market tests to measure the business impact of key initiatives, using your expertise in data analysis and statistical modeling to drive business growth
- Collect, analyze, and interpret complex data sets to inform business decisions, identifying trends, patterns, and insights that can inform strategic decision-making
- Develop and apply statistical modeling tools, techniques, and datasets to identify causal drivers of business impact, using your knowledge of statistical analysis and data visualization to communicate complex findings to business stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive learning plans and align program objectives with specific and quantifiable partner, customer, and business insights, ensuring that data-driven insights are integrated into business decision-making
- Communicate complex analytical findings to business stakeholders through clear and compelling stories and presentations, using your excellent communication and presentation skills to drive business outcomes
- Lead data preparation of complex datasets and ensure accurate analysis setup, using your attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Develop and maintain expertise in industry-standard A/B testing tools and technologies, staying up-to-date with the latest trends and innovations in data analysis and statistical modeling
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, such as Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Economics, or Marketing Analytics, with a strong foundation in statistical analysis and data visualization
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis or a related field, with a proven track record of driving business growth through data-driven insights
- Strong data querying skills (SQL) and advanced proficiency in R or Python, with experience handling large datasets and complex data analysis
- Experience handling data at scale via Spark (PySpark, SparkR, Scala, or Java) or other sources to generate business insights, with a strong understanding of data architecture and data management
- Proficiency in graphical analysis and data visualization (ggplot2, seaborn, matplotlib, Plotly), with experience communicating complex data insights to business stakeholders
- Solid knowledge of A/B testing and inferential statistics (sample size determination/power analysis, hypothesis testing, regression, etc.), with experience designing and implementing experiments to measure business impact
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with event tracking for web and mobile applications, using tools like Google Analytics, mParticle, and similar platforms to collect and analyze clickstream data accurately, with a strong understanding of digital analytics and customer behavior
- Strong collaboration skills - desire and ability to work with partners to achieve the best outcome for the business, with experience working with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes
- Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills, with experience communicating complex data insights to business stakeholders and driving business decisions
- Proven ability to manage multiple, time-sensitive projects and competing needs simultaneously to drive projects to completion with minimal direction and high attention to detail, with experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Knowledge of industry-standard A/B testing tools and technologies, such as Google Optimize, Optimizely, Apptimize, etc., or Adobe/Test and Learn software strongly preferred, with experience using these tools to drive business growth and inform decision-making
