Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Middle School Math and English Language Arts Tutor to join our dynamic team on a part-time basis. Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality tutoring services to middle school students in Math and English Language Arts, as well as test-taking, organizational, and study skills, and time management
- Develop and implement personalized lesson plans that cater to the unique needs and learning style of each student
- Effectively balance tutoring hours for each assigned student and ensure that each student receives the attention and support they need to succeed
- Provide regular session reports to our office and families within 24 hours of each tutoring session, detailing the student's progress and areas for improvement
- Respond to existing clients' concerns, questions, and requests in a professional and timely manner
- Follow up with our office when a student's enrollment package is low on hours to ensure that the student receives the support they need to continue making progress
- Prepare accordingly for each tutoring session, including developing a lesson plan and gathering any necessary materials
Essential Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the education field and industry preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in tutoring/teaching in specialized education fields preferred
- Credentialed tutors and/or graduate degrees are a plus but not a requirement
- Experience with basic database/data entry and strong administration skills
- Ability to prepare accordingly for each tutoring session, including developing a lesson plan and gathering any necessary materials
- Strong typing, PC, and recording skills, as well as access to the internet, a computer, and a smartphone
- Reliable transportation with current car insurance is a must, as well as a personality that is suited for different types of students

- Knowledge of curriculum design and implementation, as well as experience with educational technology
