Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to join our Substance Balance Experience group. As a Senior Programmer II, you'll play a critical role in developing and maintaining our content balance experience's concealment frameworks and building tooling to engage support specialists to uphold Etsy strategies. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain content balance experience's concealment frameworks using PHP, JavaScript, and other relevant programming languages.
- Build tooling to engage support specialists and uphold Etsy strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Search, Promotions, Suggestions, and Advertising, to ensure purchaser experiences aren't decreased by surprising and violative content.
- Participate in code and design audits to maintain elevated standards of code quality.
- Work with item designing groups to incorporate our control devices into their work processes and run A/B tests.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the industry, and contribute to the development of our content control strategy.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on full-stack development.
- Experience working with PHP, JavaScript, and other relevant programming languages.
- Experience with cloud technologies, such as Google Cloud or AWS, is a plus.
