About the Role
ShopDisney APAC is seeking an accomplished Digital Data Analyst to support the Online Business Development Chief in all aspects of data analysis, including aggregating data from digital resources, preparing reports, conducting research, and building dashboards and insights. The primary objective of this role is to transform data into actionable, objective-driven reports that facilitate effective business navigation and drive sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and interpret data from various digital channels, such as websites, social media, email marketing, and advertising platforms, to create meaningful insights that enhance customer engagement and conversion growth.
- Responsible for managing all data, including advertising data, customer data, website data, product, and operational data, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Support and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas of improvement and opportunities to aid the development and implementation of data-driven solutions that enhance customer experience and drive revenue growth.
- Analyze data to identify patterns, trends, and insights that improve business performance and inform business decisions.
- Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports that empower teams to visualize data insights to monitor performance and draw conclusions.
- Develop and maintain documentation that outlines data collection, analysis, and reporting processes.
- Perform ad-hoc analyses as requested by stakeholders and provide actionable recommendations.
- Communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including leaders, marketing teams, and external partners.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of digital marketing efforts and provide suggestions for improvement.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Information Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Business Analytics.
- 2-4 years of experience in a similar role or related field.
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to analyze large datasets, identify patterns and trends, and draw insights.
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and experience working with databases.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, Microstrategy, or other data representation tools.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Collaborative team player with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work across a range of stakeholders to support their digital projects, providing data and insights on audiences, measurement, and performance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a related field.
- Experience with data mining, machine learning, or predictive analytics.
- Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and data security.
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure.
- Certifications in data analysis, data science, or business analytics.
