Job description: LabCorp is seeking a Data Entry/ Specimen Processor to join our team in Seattle, WA. This role works in a high volume, fast paced production-based environment performing a vital component of clinical lab science. Clerical Data entry experience and customer service skills are necessary.
Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday Friday 5pm-3:30am

Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Responsible for effectively triaging and accessioning large volumes of multiple specimen types to meet robust turnaround requirements.
- Provides front line phone customer service to hospital and clinic staff.
- Receive and sort clinical lab specimens
- Prepare specimens for testing and analysis
- Scan and/or data entry of specimen and patient information
- Ensure all lab equipment is working properly and perform minor instrumentation maintenance
- Troubleshoot any specimen related issues
- Replenish test bench supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Complete record logs and other administrative duties as requested
- Follow all Standard Operating Procedures to ensure safety and quality standards
- High school diploma or equivalent required, some college science helpful.
- Good communication skills.
- A willingness to work in fast paced, high volume laboratory. Data entry skills are necessary.
- Experience working in the Accessioning department preferred.
